At Framework Practice, Miranda blends a science-backed approach with a deep understanding of the body to deliver high-quality, results-driven treatments. With years of hands-on experience, she not only helps clients relieve pain and improve mobility but also empowers them to develop a stronger connection with their body’s needs for long-term comfort and vitality. With a deep alignment to LAND's key principles, we couldn't wait to dive a little deeper into Miranda's practice, and her considered travel rituals.

To begin, can you share a little about your journey? What drew you to massage, and how did Framework come to life?
It’s definitely been a labour of love (and it still is!). What drew me to remedial massage was my passion for helping people’s bodies work better, mechanically and functionally. I spent 5 years working alongside physiotherapists, learning so much from them, and it really deepened my understanding of the body. That knowledge inspired me to lean into manual therapy. I love being hands - on, figuring out the root cause of injuries and supporting people through touch.
Framework came to life because I wanted to build a space that blends both worlds - science-based, and deeply holistic and nurturing. My goal is for Framework to feel safe, real and restorative where people not only get results but also leave feeling cared for on every level.
Your practice feels deeply rooted in connection and presence. How would you describe your approach to what you do?
For me, it’s always about listening first. I focus on finding the root of what’s going on mechanically, while also making sure the treatment feels calming and supportive. It’s not just about fixing pain, its also about giving people space to slow down and reconnect with their body.
What does your own daily health and wellness routine look like? Do you have any non-negotiable?
My day always starts with movement. Whether it’s walking my dog, doing pilates, or a game of tennis with my partner, I make sure to get my body moving. It’s as much for my mental reset as it is for my physical health.
When I come home from work, I love to cook a colourful meal- simple and nourishing! I also make sure to stay hydrated throughout the day, which makes a bigger difference than people realise!
My job is physically demanding, so in the evenings I prioritise wind down rituals that help me, like stretching, and self massage. This helps me get a better night sleep and ready for the next day!
How do you maintain balance and protect your own well-being while supporting others?
In the past, I’ve definitely experienced burnout - I think it’s something every practitioner can relate to! These days, I make a point to prioritise my personal life and time with my friends and family. I love going on road trips with my partner and our dog, Ted. Being out in nature, away from the city, is my ultimate reset and makes me feel so happy and grounded.
I’ve also embraced the mindset that I can only give what I actually have to give. Honouring my own limits not only protects my well-being, but also allows me to show up fully and authentically for my clients.

With your work taking you between Sydney and Perth, tell us more about how you personally weave health and self-care into your travels.
I’ve just recently moved to Perth, so I haven’t been doing the back and fourth travel yet, but as I start travelling more between Sydney and Perth, I’ll be continuing the little rituals that keep me grounded - keeping up with my pilates no matter which city I’m in, taking my magnesium every night, and trying to maintain a good work - life balance by seeing friends in Sydney and making time for things that bring me joy, whether that’s a beach swim or a dinner out. Those small things really help me reset!

What are three simple practices you recommend people can integrate to ensure they stay healthy while travelling?
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! I know everyone says it, but it makes such a difference
- Get your body moving! Even little things help, like walking instead of grabbing an Uber if you can and have a little extra time
- Taking a little evening support like magnesium help relax my muscles and improves my sleep while I’m away
You’ve recently moved from Sydney to Perth. What are your favourite parts of each city?
Both Sydney and Perth have incredible beaches, but in such different ways. Sydney will always be my forever home - I love the energy, the amazing restaurants and bars, and that there’s always something new happening. Perth is still so fresh for me, but I’m loving the laid-back culture, the friendly people, and the huge beaches with the most amazing sunsets!
If a visitor asked you for your must-do wellness experience in Perth, what would you recommend?
I haven’t actually booked in for a wellness experience in Perth just yet! I’ve only been here for 7 weeks and most of my time has gone into setting up my home and business. But I’ve heard amazing things about Heartwood in Cottesloe for facials, so that’s high on my to do list!
Tell us, your favourite travel destination? And what is in your carry-on?
Anywhere warm with a beach is my happy place! My partner and I love road trips along the coastline. For a hot climate and lots of beach time, my carry-on always includes sunscreen, a tinted moisturiser and a super hydrating serum.
